As part of the 2020 “World Risk and Adaptation Futures - Summer Academy," MCII and its partners organized a webinar on Adaptive Social Protection with insights and expert perspectives from Indonesia and worldwide. The event was successful in highlighting the need for an adaptive social protection approach; in developing conceptual clarity about the necessary building blocks for government leadership and stakeholder interaction in this process; and in teasing out the role of political leadership in promoting these approaches.
