POLICY-SHIFTING: GLOBAL AGENDA FOR RESILIENCE

Building a resilient future requires aligning global climate policy with the realities faced by vulnerable communities. We at MCII, work to ensure that resilience and protection are prioritized in international dialogues and that the voices of those most affected by climate change are meaningfully represented.

By participating in key negotiations and contributing evidence-based recommendations, we help shape policy frameworks that reflect the needs of communities exposed to climate risks. Our work supports the translation of high-level agendas into practical strategies that can be implemented on the ground.

Through policy briefings, technical input, and convening international discussions, we provide governments and institutions with timely insights on emerging climate priorities. We foster collaboration between public and private stakeholders to improve access to climate risk finance and promote inclusive climate insurance protection strategies.

We also support climate-vulnerable countries in navigating and accessing international financial mechanisms, while encouraging partnerships that connect private sector innovation with local expertise. By doing so, we help build pathways for insurance and risk finance solutions that are responsive, sustainable, and equitable—ensuring resilience efforts reflect both global ambition and local realities.
