We need more opportunities for capacity-building-networks tailored towards young insurance and climate risk professionals from both the Global South and North. Until now, there weren’t any platforms directly facilitating interactions among young professionals globally.

This is where we step in.

We want to connect young professionals in the Global South and North to foster knowledge and experience sharing, initiating closer collaboration and exchange to support wider personal and professional growth.

In order to achieve this, we have initiated and are hosting the first global network for aspiring young leaders working in the various fields of Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance.

We invite you to be part of this groundbreaking network of fellow young professionals that want to advance the agenda of CDRFI, where you can become a changemaker within the insurance industry, as well as key national and international processes.

Our new programme, CLIMER, combines 'CLIMBER', representing your career progression, with 'ME', highlighting the personal focus of the programme. We aim to empower you to shape your journey in a way that maximizes your individual growth and contribution to the broader CDRFI sphere.
