This report analyses the current status of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) potential for climate risk insurance approaches. It will be used to distill the documented needs of countries’ climate risk insurance for their NDC implementation, especially to enhance resilience-building capacities in various sectors towards climate-related impacts such as extreme weather events and disasters caused by natural hazards.
