In the run-up to COP19 discussions in Warsaw, MCII and GIZ launched a report today on integrated climate risk management including climate risk insurance. The report asks how innovative insurance solutions can support efforts to adjust to and manage the consequences of climate change and build climate risk resilience. The report draws on regional examples at the micro, national, and international levels involving public and private sector insurance approaches.
