Weather-Related Insurance and Risk Management. A Demand Study in the Caribbean
This study was carried out by MCII together with Jonathan Lashley of the University of the West Indies to assess the level of demand for weather-related parametric microinsurance in the Caribbean, with specific reference to low-income persons in the agricultural and tourism sectors. The countries of focus of the research were Belize, Grenada, St. Lucia, and Jamaica.
