Despite advancements in disaster risk financing (DRF), efforts remain fragmented across climate, humanitarian, and development sectors. A recent workshop by MCII and Anticipation Hub highlighted the need for stronger donor incentives, better coordination, and locally driven solutions. Aligning funding mechanisms and fostering cross-sector collaboration are crucial to strengthening climate resilience and minimizing losses.
