New Global Resource: "Compendium of Practice" for Ministries of Finance to Better Manage Climate Risks

The Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action has launched the Compendium of Practice, a new global and collaborative resource designed to equip Ministries of Finance with practical tools and strategies for climate-informed economic decision-making. The Compendium is a cornerstone of the Coalition’s Helsinki Principle 4 initiative, "Economic Analysis for Green and Resilient Transitions."

This extensive resource features over 130 contributions from more than 70 institutions worldwide. It showcases a wide array of applied tools, modeling approaches, and capacity-building strategies currently being used by Ministries of Finance and their partners to address key climate policy challenges. MCII’s contribution highlights the role of CLIMADA in better understanding climate risks for public financial management.
